Terms and Conditions

Deposits & Payments

All workshop bookings are secured with a deposit for the specific date of that workshop.
Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to another workshop if places are available.
The remaining balance will be due 6 weeks in advance of the arranged workshop date.
If the workshop is booked less than 6 weeks in advance of the workshop start date full payment will be payable at the time of booking.

Cancellation by the client

If the client cancels the workshop more than 1 month prior to the workshop start date the deposit will be retained. This may be transferred to another workshop if places are available.
Should the workshop be cancelled by the client less than 1 month before the workshop date the client will be liable for the full cost. The workshop may be transferred to a later available date and every effort will be made to fill the original place but should this not be possible the client will be liable for the full cost.
Weather permitting the Workshop will take place in and around the locations described in the itinery. If poor or inclement weather is experienced when a workshop is in progress every effort will be made to find an alternative location or indoor tuition will be offered. Gill Moon Photography cannot be held responsible for the lack of photographic coverage caused by any adverse weather or other adverse circumstances that may restrict access to outdoor locations.

Cancellation by Gill Moon Photography

In the event of cancellation by Gill Moon Photography liability shall be limited to a full refund of any sums paid by the Client in respect of the Workshop. A rearrangement onto a future Workshop can be arranged free of charge. Gill Moon Photography will not be responsible for any further costs, losses, claims or actions howsoever arising

Insurance

All clients participate at their own risk and Gill Moon Photography can accept no responsibility for injury or damage to their persons or property. It is recommended that the client obtains a standard holiday or public liability insurance policy to cover themselves against injury, theft or cancellation.

Dietary Requirements

Please inform us of any dietary requirements at the time of booking. We will do our best but cannot guarantee that such requests will be met and will have no liability to you if such requests are not met.

Itineraries

The itinerary has been prepared with great attention to detail but it is not always possible to plan for the weather, tides and outside influences. As such it may be necessary to alter itineraries and clients flexibility is much appreciated.

Legal Age

All participants must be 18 years or over on the day of the workshop. Under 18’s are welcome to attend a workshop but must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Complaints

The client must communicate any perceived failure in the performance of this contract on the spot to the tour leader thus giving the tour leader the opportunity to achieve a satisfactory solution. Should this not be possible, you should make your complaint known to us in writing within 28 days of the completion of the workshop.
