Winter on the Suffolk Coast Photography Workshop

Saturday 20th November, Southwold, Covehithe and Walberswick 6.45 am – 2pm  – 4 places available.

Join me for a winter workshop along the Suffolk Coast. The workshop will begin at Southwold for a sunrise shoot over the Pier. There will be an opportunity to practice long exposure photography and a selection of Lee Filters will be available to borrow upon request. Please ask at the time of booking.

From Southwold we will move further north along the coast to Covehithe where we will spend some time with the trees on the beach and looking at compositions with the village’s iconic church within a church.

The workshop will finish in the coastal village of Walberswick where we will spend some time exploring the harbour and the River Blyth.

We will cover:

We will be looking at sunrise photography and the use of filters for balancing the exposure and for introducing movement within our images. We will also explore composition

The workshop includes:

A full set of course notes sent via email before the workshop

7  hours of tuition in three separate coastal locations

The option to borrow a tripod and filters if required

20% off a half day processing workshop in my Hollesley Studio if you would like to learn more about processing your images in Lightroom.

This is a ‘Discover More’ Photography Session and is suitable for anyone who has been taking photos for a while and who knows their way around their camera controls and settings. You will need a tripod, but filters are available to borrow upon request.
