Southwold Sunrise and Long Exposure Workshop.

Saturday 25th September 6am – 9am

Join me for a half day sunrise and long exposure photography workshop in Southwold.

This workshop begins at Southwold Pier for sunrise where we will focus on long exposures and getting the best from the early morning light. For long exposure photography a range of Lee filters are available to borrow along with filter holders and adaptor rings. Please ask when booking.

From the pier we will explore the early morning light along the promenade using the beach huts and the marram grass on the dunes. We will look at the wider landscape as well as at more intimate details and will explore different methods of finding and observing images. We will practice identifying subjects, finding viewpoints, working with supporting elements and incorporating lines, shapes, patterns and textures.

This workshop is suitable for those who have some photography experience and are familiar with their camera controls. You will need a tripod and a remote timer and filters if you have them (if not I have a range of Lee filters that you are welcome to borrow – (please ask when booking)
