Join me a Photo, Process and Print workshop where we will cover the photographic process from start to finish.
We will be starting at sunrise exploring the coastal landscapes at Sizewell and Aldeburgh. The workshop will start with a sunrise and some long exposure photography at Sizewell followed by some coastal photography at Aldeburgh.
The first half of the workshop will be spent on the coast taking images, the second half will be spent in my studio reviewing the images and discussing post processing. You will have the opportunity to process your favourite image from the morning session which we will then print on A3 fine art paper so that you will leave the workshop with a print from the session.
We will cover:
Photo
How to shoot a sunrise (weather permitting), using filters and / or bracketing exposures.
Long exposure photography and the creative use of shutter speed to capture movement in water.
Composition and how to make the best of the available light.
Process
How to use Lightroom and Photoshop to get the best out of your RAW files. I have two Macs in my studio for your use during the workshop. I will demonstrate my methods of processing and then you will be working in pairs to process your favourite image for print.
How to print your own images. We will discuss printers, printing profiles and paper choices and you will have the opportunity to print your favourite image from the session, leaving with an A3 fine art print.

9 hours of tuition on the coast and in my studio at Hollesley.
The option to borrow a tripod and filters if required
An A3 fine art print of your favourite image from the session to take home.
