Gift Voucher
Half Day Group Workshop

£55.00

Half day group workshop

Tuition days make great gifts. They can be purchased as a half day for £95, a full day for £195 or as part of a half day group workshop for £55. Vouchers are supplied with a gift card and envelope.

Learn how to take well composed beautiful images. For me photography is not all about the latest gear, it is much more about connecting with the landscape and ‘seeing’ what is around you. All my workshops are tailored to your specific requirements and we will discuss these beforehand, but typically a session will include some or all of the following:

The technical side of making a photograph. This will include camera settings, ISO, aperture and depth of field, the relationship between ISO, aperture and shutter speed, white balance and the use of filters and techniques like long exposure and how to get the best from sunrises and sunsets..

‘Seeing the landscape’. This is one of the most critical elements of photography. You can be technically brilliant with the camera but if you cannot see an image or put together a successful composition you will never reach your full potential as a photographer. In this section we will practice observation and composition and work with some of the rules for composition but we will also be aware that rules are guidelines only and should never be followed to the point where they stifle your creativity.

Long exposure photography. Practicing blurring moving elements such as water, grasses or clouds. Filters are available to borrow if required.

This voucher is for a half day group workshop and gives the recipient the opportunity to choose from scheduled locations (subject to availability)
