Friday Photo walk – Focus and Depth of Field

Sizewell Beach – Friday 20th June 9.00am – 11.00am

Join me for a Friday photo walk on Sizewell beach. The theme for this week’s walk is focus and depth of field and the idea is to see how this impacts your image making. During the walk you will be challenged to make two images every time you take a shot  – one sharp across the frame and one with a shallow DOF. The challenge is to see how different you can make your two images just by changing your aperture and focus point.

Sizewell beach is great for this type of photography with plenty of subjects that can be used in the foreground.

This walk will take the form of a challenge. It is not really a tuition session but I will be on hand to demonstrate the challenge and offer advice and help with any questions you may have. At the end of the session images can be shared on my Facebook Page – Photographing Suffolk.

These walks are intended to be relaxed and fun sessions with a challenge which will hopefully make you think more deeply about your photography.
