Cromer and Happisburgh Long Exposure Workshop

Saturday 31st August 5.15am – midday – with an optional zoom session on Thursday 5th September at 7pm to discuss images and post processing.

Join me for 6.5 hours of photography on the Norfolk Coast photographing sunrise at Cromer Pier followed by some long exposure work with the tide bell and the sea defences at Happisburgh.

The workshop will begin at Cromer where we will have the opportunity to photograph sunrise over Cromer Pier. We will also have time to explore the beach and take some shots of the town reflected in the sand.

From Cromer will will travel 30 mins further south to Happisburgh where we will spend the rest of the morning. After a complementary breakfast of tea / coffee and a bacon roll from our campervan we will spend the rest of the session exploring Happisburgh beach and lighthouse.

Happisburgh has much to offer photographically and we will have the opportunity to photograph the Tide Bell at high tide, the lighthouse and the sea defences as the tide retreats. We will be experimenting with longer exposures and shorter 0.5 second / 1 second shots to capture the streaks in the moving water.

 The workshop includes:

A full set of course notes sent via email before the workshop

6.5  hours of tuition in two separate coastal locations

Complimentary tea / coffee and a bacon roll from our campervan (if you want one, if not please bring a breakfast snack with you.)

The option to borrow a tripod and filters if required

A 1.5 hour zoom session on Thursday 5th September to discuss images and post processing.
