Friday 10th May 9am – 12 midday. 5 places available. Plus an included (but optional) 1.5 hour long zoom session afterwards on Wednesday 15th May at 7pm to look at everyones best images and discuss woodland post processing techniques.
During the workshop I will provide tuition to help you complete the following challenge. To produce 3 images:
A scene that depicts spring in an ancient woodland
A tree portrait

This is not a competitive workshop it is a relaxed, fun and informative session where you can learn some new techniques and discuss your images afterwards with myself and other workshop participants.
For this workshop you will need your camera, a tripod and a lens for wider scenes (something in the region of 24 – 70mm) and a macro or telephoto lens for more close up work.
The workshop will take place at Staverton Thicks which is a fantastic area of ancient oak woodland.
We will cover:
Composition and seeing an image in a woodland setting, techniques for creative close up work and post processing techniques for woodland images.
The workshop includes:
A full set of course notes sent via email before the workshop.
