Aldeburgh After Dark,  Photography Workshop

Friday 20th January 7pm – 9.30pm 4 places available – 2 tutors.

Join me for a 2 hour photography workshop exploring Aldeburgh after dark.

This workshop is all about capturing the spirit of Aldeburgh once the sun has gone down. We will be working along the beach where there are no street lights so we will need to ‘light paint’ our scenes. We will be working in a small group of 4 and will work together to create our images. Each scene will be set up and light painted so that all participants can capture an image at the same time.

The workshop will begin at the Scallop shell and from here we will work down the beach taking in some of the old fishing boats and old tractors and some of the more notable sights of Aldeburgh.

What you need

This workshops assumes some basic knowledge of your camera controls. A tripod is essential and you will need a head torch to see your camera controls. Light painting torches will be provided and the scenes will be lit for you. A full set of course notes will be provided before the workshop and at the end of the session you will have the knowledge to go out and light paint scenes yourself.

If you have any questions about anything prior to booking please don’t hesitate to contact me
