Southwold and Walberswick Workshop
Join me for a days photography tuition exploring the beautiful coastal locations of Southwold and Walberswick.
My Southwold and Walberswick workshop starts in the coastal town of Southwold where we will explore the pier and the seafront with its colourful beach huts and marram grass covered dunes. We will cover camera settings and learn how to get off automatic mode. We will look at composition and the various rules that can be used when putting an image together and will look at the wider landscape as well as all the little details that make Southwold such a varied location for photography. After a break for lunch we will head around the estuary to photograph the beautiful village of Walberswick with its views across the river Blyth, its black fishing huts and its fantastic beach. there will be opportunities to practice long exposure photography and hopefully catch a sunset – weather permitting.
The Southwold and Walberswick Workshop includes:
7 hours of tuition. The maximum group size is 4 people
A one course light lunch at a local pub
A full set of printed course notes to take home
Email critique of images after the session.
For this workshop you will need a DSLR or bridge camera and a suitable lens for landscape photography. You will need to have a basic understanding of your camera controls.
If you would like to practice long exposure photography you will need a tripod, a filter holder, adaptor ring and ND filter. I have some that you can borrow but please check with me before the workshop.
Photographic workshops make ideal gifts. If you would like to purchase a workshop as a gift please contact me and I will send you a free gift card with your order.
