Description
Friday Photo walk – Discovering Detail on the River Blyth
Friday 3rd February 9.30am – 11.30am
Friday Walk and Talk Photography Challenges
Join me for a new series of photo walks each with a separate theme. The idea is to create a friendly community of photographers who meet once a month in a different location for a walk, a chat and a monthly challenge. The walks will take place on the first Friday of every month (or the nearest to that date depending on my schedule). You can come as many or as few walks as you wish – there is no obligation to come every month.
Each walk will have a theme and the themes for the first 6 walks are set out below. They are not really tuition sessions but I will be on hand for any questions you may have and to help out where needed.
February’s walk is all about seeking out details and making images from the smaller things in the landscape.
Up and coming walks include:
March – 50mm focal length challenge at Pin Mill – shoot with a 50mm lens or put your zoom to 50mm and take all your images at that focal length.
April – Depth of field, F2.8 and F16 only (or nearest widest and smallest apertures) Sizewell Beach.
May – Bluebells at Captains Wood.
June – Prominent foregrounds at Walberswick
July – Making people part of your landscapes on Felixstowe Seafront
